Triangles

Cross a small gap. A flat road is weak; diagonal triangles make it strong.

Goal: Connect the left anchor to the right anchor and keep stress below the red zone.

Physics rule: Triangles are the simplest strong shape.

Real-world use: Real bridges use triangular trusses because a triangle cannot change shape unless a side stretches or breaks.
