ABOUT BOOMNEXA
Original games, built for an open arcade.
Boomnexa brings original browser games, daily challenges, shared play spaces, and independently written player guidance together in one place.
Independent browser games
Boomnexa is an independent browser-game publisher based in Vienna, Austria. We make original games that can be explored in a modern browser without a download or mandatory account. Our collection includes focused arcade challenges, puzzle games, shared creative spaces, and cooperative experiences. The common thread is clear: a player should be able to understand the central action, practise it, and feel that better choices lead to better outcomes.
How we design and test
We start with a specific player question: what decision should feel interesting here? In a route puzzle, it may be whether a move preserves an exit. In a rhythm game, it may be whether timing can become readable through practice. We test first-session clarity, keyboard and touch interactions, readable feedback, and repeated runs. A game is not considered finished merely because it is playable; it should explain its rules through consistent responses and leave room for a player to learn.
Editorial standards
Our Field Notes library is part of this work. Articles are published under Boomnexa editorial accountability, dated when published or updated, and written to explain how a system works rather than to promise shortcuts or guaranteed results. We use direct game knowledge, describe the limits of a strategy, and link readers back to the relevant game. We do not publish scraped guides, copied reviews, or pages created solely to place advertising around thin text.
Fair play and community
Scores and public play spaces work only when players can trust the conditions. Where scores are submitted, Boomnexa uses validation and moderation tools to protect the integrity of play. Community reporting and muting tools exist so players can flag harmful behaviour without escalating a situation themselves. Optional purchases are cosmetic or convenience-focused and do not alter a player’s score, competitive power, matchmaking outcome, or chance of winning.
Accessibility and player comfort
A good challenge should come from the intended game system, not from avoidable barriers. We consider text readability, colour and contrast, motion, touch targets, control preferences, and the way essential instructions are communicated. Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a one-time claim. We encourage players to use available settings and to contact us when a control, interface, or piece of feedback makes a game harder to understand than it should be.
Ownership, privacy, and contact
Boomnexa is operated by Boomnexa in Vienna, Austria. We publish our Privacy Policy, Terms, Refunds Policy, and contact details in the site footer so players can find them without leaving the game library. We collect only what is needed to operate games, protect the community, and process optional purchases. If you have a question about an article, a game, or a policy, our contact page provides a direct support route.
